Together, we step back into the spotlight with a remixed 2020 program featuring exceptional artists performing extraordinary music with the biggest band in town - WASO.

We’re so proud to be West Australian, and privileged to live in the most isolated city in the world. This remixed program celebrates our unique opportunity to safely sit shoulder to shoulder in theatres and concert halls to share extraordinary music with the people of WA. We have made updates to our operations in order to limit person to person contact while you are not at your seat, and deliver on our responsibility to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

WASO’s remixed season opens with an epic performance of Carmina burana on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October. This thrilling work will feature a cavalcade of West Australian talent including conductor Jessica Gethin, soprano Amy Manford, tenor Perry Joyce, and baritone James Clayton along with the 130 voices of the WASO Chorus and UWA Symphonic Chorus.

Dvořák’s Symphony No.8 concerts on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 October bring joyful and bewitching music and introduce a white-hot rising star of the violin in Emmalena Huning to perform Mozart’s heady and romantic fifth violin concerto with WASO.

Principal Conductor Asher Fisch returns to the podium for our final two ticketed events of the year with Tchaikovsky, Brahms and Beethoven in November, and we will finish 2020 in December on Langley Park with the return of Christmas Symphony.

We will do everything in our power to present the remixed program listed but, as we all know, we may have to vary the repertoire or artists should Government or travel restrictions change.

For those patrons who cannot exchange tickets but would like to support our mission to touch souls and enrich lives through music, please consider donating part or all of the value of your tickets back to WASO so that we can let the music play on.

We look forward to seeing you back at Perth Concert Hall this October. Stay well and stay safe.
