Ken Peeler is an American violinist who came to Australia in 1990 to join the West Australian Symphony Orchestra as Principal 1st Violin.
Prior to his move to Perth, Ken performed in several American orchestras in various positions ranging from Assistant Concertmaster, Associate Concertmaster, and Concertmaster.
Ken held the position of Assistant Concertmaster with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra in the US state of Nebraska for five years. Before, during, and after attending university Ken studied with a number of violinists; among them were Paul Katz, a former child prodigy and protege of Otakar Sevik, Paul Makara a protege of Ivan Galaman, and Miltiades Siadimas a violinist who had been chosen to perform and represent the US in US State Department recital tours offered to various other countries back in the 1960's.
