Saturday 14 February, 7pm | Claremont Park
Swoon with WASO this Valentine’s Day at a breathtaking (and free!) outdoor concert in Claremont. Be swept away by the romance of Tchaikovsky’s Waltz of the Flowers, the fiery passion of Bizet’s Carmen, and the enchantment of Beauty and the Beast. With food trucks on site and plenty of great spots to set up a picnic, this concert is perfect for those wanting an evening of elegance, magic, and unforgettable music.
Jurassic World in Concert
Friday 17 & Saturday 18 April, 7.30pm | Riverside Theatre
Trying to impress a movie buff? This is a cinema experience like no other! See the thrilling blockbuster Jurassic World on a giant screen with Michael Giacchino’s powerful score performed live by WASO. Masters of the Baroque

Step into Perth’s most opulent theatre and be enchanted by the splendour of Baroque music. The perfect excuse to get dressed up, this concert features some of the most beautiful and brilliant orchestral works under the direction of internationally acclaimed conductor and keyboardist, Chad Kelly, and with exquisite soprano soloist, Prudence Sanders. Join WASO, hosts Andrew Pogson and Dan Golding, conductor Nicholas Buc, and pianist Aura Go as they bring the music from your favourite anime films to life alongside insights into how Hisaishi crafted these iconic soundscapes.
Schumann’s Cello Concerto

Immerse yourself in an evening of glorious masterpieces. French cellist Ivan Karizna brings Schumann’s poetic Cello Concerto to life in his first ever performance with WASO. Be moved by Sibelius’ haunting portrait of a mystical swan before Otto Tausk leads you through Brahms’ Third Symphony, a work of warmth, strength, and soaring beauty.
An Evening on Broadway
