Richard WAGNER Tannhäuser: Overture
Jean SIBELIUS Symphony No.2

Pietari Inkinen conductor

The great Finnish master Jean Sibelius was one of the 20th century’s greatest symphonists. Composed in a time of oppression, the stirring melodies and triumphant conclusion of his Second Symphony made it a symbol of freedom and liberation, and Sibelius a national hero. This ever-popular symphony will be simply thrilling in the hands of Finnish conductor Pietari Inkinen.
