The Role
The Orchestra Co-ordinator supports the Orchestra Manager in running the productions and events in delivery mode. The position is production-focused and supports the Orchestra Manager, Musicians, Conductors, Artists and other related roles during production. The Orchestra Co-ordinator assists in running orchestral rehearsals, performances, and related activities. The role also provides production and administrative support for the Orchestra Manager.

Skills Required
To be successful you will need to have:

• Demonstrated experience in delivering multiple tasks within assigned timeframes
• Possess a current Australian drivers licence and access to a working vehicle
• Excellent IT skills in setting up and packing down noise monitoring equipment and administration of noise reading
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, a team player and a proven ability to work well with creative and artistic persons;
• Excellent organisational skills, an effective problem solver with demonstrated conflict management and negotiation skills;

You will also be able to demonstrate:

• Understanding of current Workplace Health & Safety legislation
• An ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
• Great interpersonal skills: active listening, empathy and teamwork
• A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within the team and display a proactive approach to achieving objectives;
• A high level of attention to detail in both an operational and administrative capacity;
• A willingness to be hands-on and apply a practical approach to tasks; and
• A willingness to work on weekends and outside standard business hours.
