The West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) is a vibrant leader among Australia’s cultural organisations, and Western Australia’s largest and busiest performing arts company. Established in 1928, it plays a central role in the cultural life of Western Australia, performing over 130 concerts each year with some of the world’s finest conductors and soloists to an audience in excess of 180 000.

2009 Christmas Auction
Our inaugural WASO Christmas Auction will take place on Thursday, 10 December 2009 at Mt Eliza House Gardens in Kings Park, a beautiful outdoor venue overlooking the Swan River. All supporters are invited to enjoy a wonderful evening together and all proceeds raised from the auction go directly to the Orchestra.
The event includes:
- MC Alan Dodge AM, WASO Patron, former Director of WA Art Gallery and art advisor
- Live music by a WASO brass ensemble
- Beautiful wine and canapés
- Mack Hall will auction stunning jewellery from the Perth Mint as well as other WASO inspired special items.
It will be the perfect time to buy a special Christmas gift and support WASO at the same time!
