Beethoven’s Ninth is a triumphant and uplifting celebration of the human spirit. Under the baton of Principal Conductor Asher Fisch and featuring the WASO Chorus with an outstanding cast of soloists, this inspiring masterwork perfectly sets the tone for our 2027 Season. In dramatic contrast, mezzo-soprano Stefanie Irányi takes centre stage in Berlioz’s gripping cantata, which paints a vivid portrait of Queen Cleopatra’s final moments.
