Aaron Copland’s iconic Fanfare for the Common Man launches the evening with grandeur before Perth’s own Ashley Smith takes centre stage for the world premiere of James Ledger’s Clarinet Concerto. Rachmaninov’s lush and romantic Second Symphony brings the concert to a breathtaking finale.
