Copland’s Appalachian Spring opens the night with a tender, hopeful portrait of American life. James Crabb’s incredible virtuosity and mesmerising musicianship are on full display in a dazzling new concerto by Holly Harrison. Saint-Saëns’ magnificent Organ Symphony soars as the finale.

Holly Harrison’s Concerto for Classical Accordion supported by Catherine Dunn on behalf of WASO in a co-commission by the Adelaide, Queensland, Tasmanian and West Australian Symphony Orchestras.
