Principal Conductor Asher Fisch opens the 2019 Masters Series with a concert of dramatic and enchanting works Composed in a blaze of creativity during the summer of 1788, Mozart’s penultimate Symphony is among the most enduring and popular of all his works. Poulenc composed his Stabat Mater in only two months, which he attributed to heavenly inspiration. Exceptional Australian soprano Siobhan Stagg brings her luminous tone to this moving work and to Ravel’s sumptuous song cycle, Shéhérazade.
