Composition Project
Our Composition Project nurtures emerging West Australian composers, providing them with the opportunity to develop their skills in a professional environment through mentorship, workshops and rehearsals, culminating in a public performance.
Australian Conducting Academy
Throughout each year, the Australian Conducting Academy allows aspiring conductors to learn from experienced orchestral leaders while working with WASO and other major Australian orchestras.
Side by Side Collaborations
WASO is commited to side-by-side learning through partnerships with other musical organisations and community musicians, creating opportunities for emerging artists to learn from and perform alongside their State Orchestra.
