Corporate Partnerships & Events Coordinator – Contract to Feb 2018

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Corporate Development, this is an outstanding opportunity to experience a dynamic organisation that fosters inspiration and passion for the arts throughout our community. 

The Role

WASO is looking for an energetic and self-motivated events planner to proactively coordinate all corporate hospitality and events for sponsors. This position will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of WASO sponsors.

This pivotal role offers many challenges and the ideal person will need to be able to foster strong relationships while providing exceptional sponsorship service, hospitality and special experiences to all WASO’s corporate partners. 

Skills Required

To be considered for this role you will have experience planning and coordinating functions and events as well as managing client relationships such as sponsors or other client accounts. 

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • A high level of attention to detail;
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills; and
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

If you take pride in providing outstanding customer service and event experiences, are adept at fostering relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and are keen to apply your initiative, this could be the job for you.
