Volunteer Your Time

WASO is privileged to receive the assistance of over 30 regular volunteers. Our much-loved volunteers provide support to the Orchestra’s administrative staff both in the office and during performances. Volunteering with WASO presents a unique opportunity to be more involved with the life of our orchestra and offers a special insight into what occurs “behind the scenes”.

Participants in WASO’s volunteering program support us in a number of different ways. In the office, our passionate band of volunteers assist with mail-outs and events. At the Perth Concert Hall, they greet our audiences with a warm smile and a program at the entrance and answer any questions that audience members may have. As the first point of contact for concert goers who may be new to the Orchestra, the volunteer team help us make newcomers feel welcome.
