Touring

The West Australian Symphony Orchestra takes great pride in its regional touring program, providing access to the finest music to communities across Western Australia.

The whole orchestra has visited several regional areas and in 2011 presented very successful concerts in both the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre and the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre. The 15-piece chamber orchestra, EChO, comprises one of each instrument from the full orchestra and performs classical, jazz and popular music in diverse locations. Our WASO On the Road ensembles can travel further than a full Orchestra, comprising up to four musicians. The instrumental combinations are unique to each tour, and the repertoire performed is fun and accessible.
