Welcome to the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and our Education and Outreach program DISCOVER! for another invigorating year. From a musical ‘whodunnit?’ mystery to toe-tapping music from the world of dance and much, much more, WASO’s DISCOVER! promises to deliver all the excitement, power and passion that only a live symphony orchestra can provide.
Once again the regional touring program will see musicians from WASO travel to all corners of the state. From Bunbury to Margaret River; Wyndham to Kununurra; Geraldton to Carnarvon; Mundaring to York and Esperance to Kalgoorlie, WASO’s DISCOVER! program provides the means for your state’s orchestra to deliver enriching programs to students in these centres.
Take the time to go through this brochure and make note of the many wonderful opportunities that WASO has made available so that your students can discover the world of orchestral music. Many of our concert experiences are enhanced by teaching resource kits for the classroom so you can further enrich your students’ music education opportunities.
